Coaching for Community Camp

Coaching for Community Camp took place in Trzebnica between 1 and 8 February 2025. This intensive training camp brought together Polish-Ukrainian Tandem Coaches, preparing them to lead movement-based and integrative activities for children. Throughout the camp, participants explored a wide range of methods and exercises that will help them effectively work with youth and create a supportive sports environment in the future.

At the same time, the camp provided a unique experience for young participants from Poland and Ukraine. Through sports, fun, and shared challenges, they built connections, broke down barriers, and created a community based on cooperation and mutual respect. What’s more, these young participants have the opportunity to continue their journey beyond the camp – as volunteer assistants to Tandem Coaches. By supporting the training sessions, they can further develop their leadership skills and gain valuable experience in working with children.

Education, Integration, Inspiration

During the week-long program, participants took part in two parallel educational tracks:

Tandem Coach – training for Polish-Ukrainian coaching duos who, starting in March 2025, will organize physical activity sessions for children in Wrocław within the “Let’s Play Together” innitiative.

Coach Assistant – a program for young people aimed at developing their skills in leading movement-based activities.

The program included both dynamic practical sessions and inspiring theoretical workshops led by international experts. Topics covered included sports as a tool for integration, psychological first aid, and innovative methods for working with youth.

However, this camp was not just about learning – it was about energy, emotions, and relationships that will stay with the participants for a long time. Although the event has come to an end, its impact will be felt in the communities where the coaches and youth return. Because Let’s Play Together is just the beginning!
